Draw & Journal might be one of our most intimate Sunday’s yet. Break into small groups and flow into prompt-guided sessions of drawing and journaling with opportunities to share in a welcome, safe space. We are so excited to reflect and revitalize in this special way!
Clothing Exchange
Mid-Season Clothing Exchange - Monday, August 17th!
Drop off starts at 9 AM the day of the event. We apologize, we do not have the storage to accept items beforehand.
Join us for the ultimate community swap at the Community Hall! We’re transforming the space into an exchange center where you can give and take items like clothes, shoes, hats, accessories, books, makeup, nail polish, gloves, scarves, coats, bags, belts, toys, and more.
Island residents and employees are invited to participate! No used socks or underwear, please.
Enjoy snacks and drinks while you browse and exchange. Plus, all unclaimed or unwanted items at the end of the event will be donated to the Hope Chest, so nothing goes to waste!
Let’s share, swap, and celebrate the end of the season together!

🥾 Hike & Trail Clean-Up: Tranquil Bluff Trail
Help us keep the island beautiful! Join us for a rewarding day of fresh air, community connection, and giving back to the trails we love. As proud participants in the Mackinac State Historic Parks’ Adopt-a-Trail program, we are hosting a group hike and trail clean-up, and we would love for you to join us!
📍 Meeting Point: Marquette Park
🗺️ The Route: We will meet at the park and hike up to the beautiful Tranquil Bluff Trail.
💪 Difficulty: Moderate (not incredibly hard, but not a flat walk either).
🎒 What to Know Before You Go:
Gear Up: Please wear appropriate clothing and sturdy hiking shoes.
Fuel & Hydration: We will provide some water and snacks, but we highly encourage everyone to bring their own water bottles and extra snacks to stay fueled.
