Whether you are a total beginner or completely fluent, everyone is welcome. Our main focus will be English and Spanish, but we are happy to open groups for other languages if there is interest.

• How it works: We will split into groups of 4 based on your target language and skill level. We’ll switch languages every 15 minutes. At the halfway point, we will mix things up and switch partners!

• Who: All island workers and residents are welcome—the more the merrier!

🥾 Hike & Trail Clean-Up: Tranquil Bluff Trail

Help us keep the island beautiful! Join us for a rewarding day of fresh air, community connection, and giving back to the trails we love. As proud participants in the Mackinac State Historic Parks’ Adopt-a-Trail program, we are hosting a group hike and trail clean-up, and we would love for you to join us!

• 📍 Meeting Point: Marquette Park

• 🗺️ The Route: We will meet at the park and hike up to the beautiful Tranquil Bluff Trail.

• 💪 Difficulty: Moderate (not incredibly hard, but not a flat walk either).

🎒 What to Know Before You Go:

• Gear Up: Please wear appropriate clothing and sturdy hiking shoes.

• Fuel & Hydration: We will provide some water and snacks, but we highly encourage everyone to bring their own water bottles and extra snacks to stay fueled.
